The heavy rain lashed against Sosuke’s apartment window, providing a rhythmic backdrop to the quiet evening. Just as he settled into his routine, a thunderous crash echoed from the ceiling. Dust spiraled down, and before he could react, the floorboards above gave way completely.
Sosuke sighed, though he couldn't help but crack a smile at the sheer absurdity of the situation. "This is certainly one way to introduce yourself to the downstairs neighbor," he remarked, reaching out a hand to help her up.
Sosuke stared in disbelief as his neighbor, Hana, sat up amidst the cushions, rubbing her head and looking extremely embarrassed. "I am so sorry!" she exclaimed, pointing toward the gaping hole above. "I was trying to move a heavy bookshelf, and I think the floorboards were much weaker than I realized."
