Jaden finds himself in a slump, feeling that his deck isn't performing as it should. He encounters a legendary, albeit eccentric, Duelist named , who has abandoned modern society to live in the wilderness. Damon believes that by becoming one with nature, he can achieve the "ultimate draw."
While Damon takes it to a literal extreme, the episode reinforces the series' theme that a Duelist's bond with their deck influences their luck.
