The story follows RJ (B.J. Britt), a man who has recently passed away and become a "new angel". RJ is granted the opportunity to return to Earth for 12 days to address his greatest regret: failing to help his estranged sisters, Dani (Tamala Jones) and Marlow (Nadine Ellis), reconcile while he was alive.
