When a giant floating head (a Cromulon) arrives at Earth demanding "Show me what you got!", its presence causes massive natural disasters, killing nearly every major musician on the planet.

" Get Schwifty " is the fifth episode of the second season of Rick and Morty , originally airing on August 23, 2015. Written by Tom Kauffman and directed by Wes Archer, it is best known for introducing the giant, planet-judging "Cromulons" and the viral song that gives the episode its title.

Rick and Morty are recruited by the President of the United States to save the world by performing a hit song. Rick improvises the song "Get Schwifty," which pleases the Cromulon enough to transport Earth into an intergalactic musical talent show called Planet Music .
