Things started to click once I hit Level 20. The Kensei’s mobility is rivaled only by the Trickster, making it one of the best classes for rushing dungeons once you master the "flee/go through" mechanic.

The early game was... humbling. Dashing through a horde of Medusas with a T0 Rusty Katana is a great way to remind yourself why Kensei has a high skill floor. The immunity on dash is great, but until you get a feel for the charge-up and distance, you’re just as likely to dash into a shotgun as you are to dodge one. But while most players gravitate toward the safety of a Knight or the raw DPS of a Wizard, I decided to take a much riskier path for my latest challenge: Why the Kensei? Things started to click once I hit Level 20

For this PPE, I followed the standard community "Hardcore" guidelines: Level 1, no gear from the vault. No Trading: If I didn't see it drop, I couldn't wear it. humbling
